Endorsements
Two letters from physicians.
From colleagues who know Dr. Caccavale’s work first-hand. Reproduced in full.
I have known Dr Robert Caccavale for well over a decade and have interacted with him numerous times including one on one tutorials, multiple phone calls and e-mails and over that timespan Bob has been proven to be an incessant seeker of knowledge in an area of medicine far outside his trained specialty. It is my distinct pleasure to endorse his practice and his approach to human health and longevity. I do not make this endorsement lightly.
My career as a board certified internist and lipidologist has included 37 years of practice (in NJ), more than two decades of widespread clinician cardiometabolic education across all 50 states and global venues (over 4,000 events including 650 CME events), full time on-site service as chief academic officer of two major cardiovascular biomarker labs, associate editorship of the Journal of Clinical Lipidology, and multiple publications and podcasts.
Now that telemedicine is here and flourishing, I am so happy that I can recommend Dr Caccavale’s services to not only my former Jersey friends, former patients and neighbors but to all.
As a cardiac surgeon who regularly treats and operates on patients for severe coronary artery atherosclerosis, I recognize that surgery is a palliative operation. It improves the quality of life and sometimes the life expectancy of patients. However, without follow-up and strict adherence to quality of life changes, healthy dietary adherence, and meticulous evaluation of lipid and cholesterol levels with expert guidance on the use of statins, PCSK9 inhibitors, and now bempedoic acid, the likelihood of recurrence of disease that needs intervention or becomes life threatening is significant.
Robert Caccavale, MD, whom I have known for the last 30 years, an accomplished thoracic surgeon, but who for personal and family health reasons has become a scholar in cholesterol and lipid management, glucose and insulin intolerance, as well as dietary, exercise and quality of life choices, has been my go-to physician for myself and my family, all of whom have a strong family history for atherosclerotic heart and stroke disease.
Bob’s insight and management style is meticulous, personable, as well as scientifically based. It has become very clear to me as a cardiac surgeon that Dr. Caccavale’s skill set and presence on the health team treating and preventing cardiac disease is a necessity for anyone ever requiring a cardiac intervention, or with risk factors or family history that makes cardiac disease a concern.
